The Rise of the Wookies

Now that the season is over, I’d thought I would look more closely at our winner the Wookies. In doing so I found that we all underestimated our foe. I think my research will surprise us all. ;-)
Adult Wookies are typically taller than most humans, averaging 6 feet 11 inches. They possess enormous strength; Hans Cholos once said that a Wookie can pull a man's arms out of his sockets if angered or slighted. 
So I traced the rise of the Wookies to the smack down they received in week 3 followed up in week 5.

They went on a 5 game rampage that didn’t stop till week 11.

Then guess what happened in game 11. That’s right Gurley man came along and laid another smackdown on the Wookies. This conversation that Hans Cholos had with the Gurley man on that fateful day was overheard.

Hans Cholos, “Let him have it. It's not wise to upset a Wookiee."
Gurley Man, "But Hans, nobody worries about upsetting a Gurley Man."
Hans Cholos, "That's 'cause Gurley Men don't pull people's arms out of their sockets when they lose. Wookies are known to do that."
"I see your point, Hans. I suggest a new strategy, Derek Carr (Oak QB). Let the Wookie win." 

Derek Carr obliges and gives only 6 pts. But alas it was too late. The Panthers defense provided 30 pts, Julio Jones 22 pts, and TB Doug Martin 25 pts (playing Philly naturally) and the smackdown was on. 

​Well it took a couple of games for the Wookies to rekindle that fire but it never went out again.

Despite a fearsome appearance and temperamental disposition, Wookies are shown to be very intelligent and are very adept at handling the advanced technology of Fantasy Football. These two moves prove this point.

These 2 players alone averaged 47.5 points per game over the last 4 games. Pretty impressive.

Wookiees greatly value morality, courage, compassion and loyalty. A sacred and ancient Wookiee tradition is that of the honor family. An honor family comprises a Wookie's closest friends and companions. Wookiees are willing to extend this tradition to members outside their species. I can only hope that he has accepted the final four as part of his honor family, after all it’s said that Wookies have a lifespan of several hundred years which could make it very rough on the league going forward.
